DISRUPTIVE DOGS
In order to protect all participants in a class, we reserve the right to decline entry to, or to remove from class, any dog who presents behavioral issues that may be deemed overly dangerous or disruptive, or that may be or exacerbated by participation in a group or class setting. Depending on the circumstance, credit for unattended sessions may be granted, and we may recommend our private training option.

BITING AND FIGHTING
If your dog has ever bitten anyone — including you, a family member, a friend or a stranger — enough to break the skin (excluding puppies playing), or if your dog has ever been involved in a dog fight, please call before registering.

VACCINATIONS
Dog(s) participating in private and group training service(s) must be current for Rabies and all other legally required vaccinations.

For group classes and workshops, all puppies are required to have completed the Parvo vaccine series.  Additional vaccinations, including distemper, hepatitis, and parainfluenza, are not required, but strongly encouraged unless otherwise directed by the indicated veterinarian.

If you choose/refuse to vaccinate your dog you agree to participate in training at your own risk and at the risk of your animal.

ADULTS & CHILDREN
Wear comfortable, closed toe, secure shoes. Our training facility is smoke-free. Please refrain from using cell-phones during class. Children are welcome to attend training classes if they are able to sit settled on a chair for the duration of the class and they are not a distraction for the person in charge of the dog or others in the classroom. Your child is only permitted to handle your dog during class if he/she is over 16 years of age and able to safely manage and effectively train your dog. For your children’s safety, please do not allow them to run around the Training Center which could trigger dogs to jump, chase or nip them.

VIDEO AND PHOTO RELEASE
Video or photos of class may be published on the High Octane Agility website. I hereby acknowledge that I, my dog, and my family may be included in class videos posted on the High Octane Agility website or future training videos. All video and photos are the property of High Octane Agility.

ARRIVING TO CLASS
Please enter the building without your dog no more than 15 minutes before your class begins. You may bring in your stuff - bags, crate, etc. - and set up. Once all of the previous class's dogs have exited the building, the instructor will let you know you may bring in your dog.

When bringing your dog into class, please manage your dog so that he/she cannot get to other dogs who are also on a lead.  Please leave ample room between your dog and other dogs when entering via gates and doorways.  Not all dogs like other dogs and when restrained by a lead this can lead to disastrous consequences.  In any case, allowing your dog to play with other dogs prior to class will excite your dog and make him/her less likely to pay attention to you during class. When you arrive, take your dog for a brief walk around and get him/her settled.
