Kim’s journey in dog training began in her late teens, working alongside her mother—and more than 25 years later, she’s still just as passionate about helping dogs and their people succeed. Over the years, Kim has trained and competed in a variety of AKC sports, including Obedience, Herding, Rally, and Agility.
About five years ago, she caught the Nose Work bug and hasn’t looked back! Today, she actively competes with her four Shelties in AKC Scent Work and Barn Hunt, continuing to explore new ways to challenge and engage her dogs.
Kim’s training philosophy centers on treating every dog-and-handler team as individuals. She focuses on building confidence, creating success, and making sure the journey is just as fun as the destination, all while strengthening the bond between dog and handler.
Kim lives in Newtown with her husband, her Shelties, and a few assorted rodents who keep life entertaining!
