Jenny Garten

Jenny Garten brings a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of heart to the High Octane team! She currently shares her home with Basil, her talented Australian Shepherd, and Carmen, a spunky cat who keeps everyone on their toes.

When she’s not training Basil, Jenny dedicates her time to raising and training service puppies for Canine Partners for Life. She’s an AKC Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Evaluator, as well as a certified Rodeo Dog and Fetch Judge. Jenny holds a professional dog training certification through Woofs of Wisdom (WOW-CDT 002).

Together with Basil, Jenny has explored an incredible range of dog sports including rally obedience, agility, nose work, disc, tricks, freestyle, fetch, FastCAT, treibball, and even animal acting! Basil isn’t just a sport dog—she’s also a Canine Good Citizen, Search and Rescue dog, certified therapy dog with Therapy Dogs International, and a model/actress.

Jenny is passionate about building strong relationships between dogs and their humans through clear communication, confidence, and fun. She’s excited to help you and your pup reach your training goals—whether you’re working on life skills or gearing up for the spotlight!
